Oscar-winning veteran actor Ben Kingsley is preparing to reprise the character of Trevor Slattery from “Iron Man 3” and “The Legend of Shang-Chi and the Ten Links” in Marvel Studios’ new Disney+ series “Wonder Man.”
“Iron Man 3” introduced Sir Ben Kingsley as Mandarin, the leader of the terrorist group Ten Links and Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) nemesis from the comics, but later on, the character was Mandarin by Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce). It turned out to be Trevor Slattery, a failed British actor hired to play the role.
In Slattery “Shang-Chi”, he was taken prisoner by the real Mandarin, who turned out to be the protagonist’s father, Xu Wenwu.
