“Belle, Belle, Belle”, the French remake of “I Feel Pretty” scheduled for re-entry on TF1, arrives today in preview on Salto. The perfect opportunity to discover this quirky comedy with Joséphine Draï and Arié Elmaleh.
After the preview online Last week of Mensonges, Audrey Fleurot’s new series, Salto continues its momentum by offering Belle, Belle, Belle, as of this Tuesday, August 3, a new unit which should be offered by the start of the school year on TF1.
French remake of the Netflix film I Feel Pretty, Belle, Belle, Belle follows Alice, a thirty-something full of complexes, who suffers from a great lack of self-confidence that prevents her from undertaking anything, professionally or emotionally.
Following a fall on her head, she wakes up convinced that she has become, as if by magic, a sublime girl. Armed with this brand new self-confidence, nothing can resist her: she gets the job of her dreams and meets love in the person of Benjamin. But what will happen if this illusion goes away? Will Alice be able to keep this self-esteem that she has so lacked so far?
If in the American version it was Amy Schumer who camped the young woman, she leaves her place here to Joséphine Draï, discovered in Plan Coeur, a Netflix series in which she played Émilie “Snowy” Chestnut, Elsa’s best friend (Zita Hanrot) and Charlotte (Sabrina Ouazani). Arié Elmaleh lends his features to Benjamin, the man who will fall under the spell of this new Alice.
On the production side, it’s Anne Depétrini, for whom this is the third experience behind the camera after School is over and There is some ham ?, who got down to shooting this 90-minute comedy. .
Alongside Joséphine Draï and Arié Elmaleh, you will find Reem Kherici, Jarry, Catherine Hosmalin, Déborah Lukumuena, Suzanne de Baecque or Audrey Pirault. Macha Méril will make an appearance. Finally, Belle, Belle, Belle will be the scene of a reunion between Marc Ruchmann and Joséphine Draï who had given each other a counterpart in Plan Coeur.
