Avengers Campus: the Marvel land opens its doors
After welcoming them to the cinema to the delight of the box office, Disney is finally welcoming its Marvel superheroes to its amusement parks. Including at Disneyland Paris. Indeed, it is in the park Walt Disney Studios that Avengers will take their place.
The land of Marvel has also been baptized Avengers Campus. And good news, after four years of waiting, it opens its doors this summer!
Disneyland Paris has announced that the Marvel Avengers Campus would open to the public the next July 20. The campus, designed by Tony Stark (Iron Man), is described as “a new universe devoted entirely to the discovery, recruitment and training of the next generation of Super-Heroes”.
In addition to being able to interact with many costumed superheroes present on the land, visitors will also be able to experience two attractions: one devoted to Iron Man, and the other to Spider-Man.
Avengers Assemble: Flight Force is an exclusive attraction at Disneyland Paris. This is a high-speed roller coaster in which rookies will team up with Captain Marvel and Iron Man to ward off threats hovering on Earth. For connoisseurs, the attraction was built instead of Rock’n Roller Coaster. Thrills guaranteed!
The second attraction, Spider-Man WEB Adventure is dedicated to Spider-Man. It’s described as “a whole new kind of attraction” where visitors can launch webs like Spider-Man. A feat made possible thanks to a innovative technology specially developed for this attraction.
Thus, vehicle passengers will be able to launch virtual webs from their wrists, thanks to gesture recognition. Their targets? The out of control Spider-Botsdetermined to wreak havoc on campus.
Obviously, Avengers Campus will also house Marvel superhero-themed stores and dining venues.
