At 66, Bruce Willis is still in good shape. For his new film entitled “Apex”, he will once again have to be inventive to face his enemies. And as the trailer shows, he’ll have a lot to do.

Bruce Willis: action man

Who would have thought that at the end of the 80s Bruce Willis was one of the new headliners of the films tested? Indeed, before him, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Chuck Norris were the kings of the action genre. Their strength, charisma and sense of invincibility turned the heads of the spectators. However, a feature film released in 1988 will be a game-changer in the field of action films: Crystal trap. Directed by John McTiernan, the feature film reveals a whimsical character named John McClane, and brilliantly embodied by Bruce Willis.

The one who was hitherto known to play in romantic-comic productions, here plays a real castagneur. However, the latter is the opposite of those embodied by Sly or even Schwarzy. Winner, sometimes clumsy and constantly injured, John McClane is a much more “human” hero than the others. In 1988, a franchise, a character and especially an actor, will be born. Bruce Willis is one of the most famous stars of action movies today.

With Apex, Bruce Willis is ready to feel the gun again. And as in the saga Die Hard, he will find himself facing a cohort of enemies. Indeed, the American actor will play Thomas Malone, a former police officer who finds himself on a desert island. Unfortunately, he’s not alone: indeed, several elite hunters have paid to participate in a sadistic deadly game: hunt down and execute prey. The prey here being Thomas Malone! The latter will therefore have to show ingenuity to escape his attackers, and eliminate them one by one.

Directed by Edward John Drake, the film will be able to count in its cast on the beautiful blue eyes of Neal McDonough, Corey William Large (who is also writing and producing the film) and Alexia Fast in particular. The movie is set to ride the wave according to the trailer Squid Game, with a survival game where there will be only one left. Stalking in the forest should also appeal to lovers ofHunger Games and Metal Gear Solid.

Apex will be released in US theaters and on VOD, starting November 12.
