In Code Name Banshee, it’s been about five years since Banshee (Jaime King) lost her CIA agent father during a covert mission. His partner Caleb (Antonio Banderas) survived the ambush orchestrated by terrorist Anthony Greene (Tommy Flanagan). Caleb then disappeared without a trace, leaving Banshee alone with her grief.
In the meantime, the young woman has become an extremely efficient contract killer who works with the hacker Kronos (Aleksander Vayshelboym) and is handsomely rewarded for her assassinations. However, she continues to search for Caleb, who once trained her as a kind of godfather on the gun.
When she has just found the man, Greene suddenly reappears on the scene, who has also been looking for the man in hiding. So Banshee and Caleb not only have to finally face their past, but also fight for a future together. If only for Caleb’s teenage daughter Hailey (Catherine Davis)…

Jon Keeyes, who was most recently represented in our home cinemas with the two John Malkovich thrillers “Rogue Hostage” and “The Survivalist”, directed “Code Name Banshee”.
The title role is played by Jaime King, who Netflix subscribers know as the protagonist of the zombie action series Black Summer. The former model celebrated her breakthrough as an actress almost two decades ago with screen parts in successful films such as “Pearl Harbor”, “Blow” and “Bulletproof Monk”.
At King’s side are the Spanish world star Antonio Banderas from “Philadelphia”, “Interview with the Vampire” and “Desperado” as well as Tommy Flanagan. The Scot embodied supporting parts in cinema monuments such as “Braveheart”, “Face/Off” and “Gladiator”. His most famous character on television was Filip “Chibs” Telford on Sons Of Anarchy. In the second season of their spin-off series “Mayans MC” he brought them back to life.
