Android 13 officially launches after many months in beta. Note that said update will be offered first on some smartphones before spreading to others fairly quickly. Obviously the holders of a Google Pixel smartphone are the first served. This time no need to wait for the month of October as usual for the new version of Android.
A list that will grow
Here are the brands that will offer the said update quickly (this year 2022):
- Samsung Galaxy
- HMD (Nokia)
What’s new in Android 13
In this new version of Android, Google has added many customization options, including the ability to match the theme and colors of your non-Google applications with those of your wallpaper. In other words, if your wallpaper is predominantly candy pink, your applications will have a dominance… candy pink! We should also have more language options with the possibility of choosing for each application. You can now also restrict access to applications to a selection, just to preserve your privacy and not let Facebook see everything.
In short, if you have a Google Pixel you can now go to the phone settings to download the update. For the other manufacturers, we will have to wait for everyone’s communication. But it shouldn’t take too long.
