Paramount has unveiled the first trailer for “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”, scheduled for next summer. We will finally see giant robots beating each other!
The Transformers come back!
Since its beginnings in 2007, the saga Transformers is particularly lucrative. However, on paper, the project was not necessarily the most attractive – an adaptation of Hasbro brand toys. But the first film directed by Michael Bay succeeded in attracting the public by proposing monstrous battles between giant robots.
On the one hand the Autobots, who fled their planet Cybertron and took refuge on Earth. On the other, their enemies the Decepticons who intend to dominate the human world and definitively exterminate the Autobots. Remember that these aliens have the particularity of being able to transform into any vehicle, hence the name Transformers.

To accompany them and allow the public to identify better, Michael Bay has added a few humans, with in the first two films Sam Witwicky and Mikaela carried by Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox. A cast that has evolved over time.
In five moviesthe saga Transformers reported over $4 billion in revenue worldwide. Added to this is the spin-off Bumblebee (2018), for over $460 million in revenue. It is therefore logical that Paramount continues to build on the franchise with a seventh film titled Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
Head to the 90s for Optimus Prime
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts won’t be out until next summer but the studio is already giving us a first trailer (in one article). And even if Michael Bay is no longer directing (as with Bumblebee), replaced by Steven Caple Jr. (Creed 2) but always present as a producer, we are promised a hell of a show with action sequences that are still visually impressive.
However, the important thing is for the moment more at the level of the plot since this new film should completely relaunch the saga to give rise to a new trilogy. The action will go like this in the 1990s and will take us to the four corners of the globe.
The fight between the Autobots and the Decepticons will always be part of the story, with obviously the presence of Optimus Prime. But we will see the addition of two old factions of Transformers, the Maximals and the Predacons. It is an archaeologist played by Dominique Fishback and a former soldier played by Anthony Ramos who will find their trace and will therefore be in the middle of a titanic fight. The film will be available in theaters June 7, 2023.
