After The Walking Dead, Laurie Holden lands a new major role in season 3 of The Boys, scheduled for 2022 on Prime Video. She will play a superheroine there and the actress unveiled her costume.

We will see red in season 3 of The Boys with the arrival of the character played by Laurie Holden. The former survivor of The Walking Dead becomes a superheroine in this new season, a called Crimson Countess (“crimson” meaning “purple” in English).
The actress unveiled her costume all red via her Twitter account and indeed, she is reminiscent of a certain Scarlet Witch:
Dressed in head-to-toe red, Crimson Countess is one of a whole bunch of new characters coming to season 3: Nick Wechsler (Revenge) will play Blue Hawk, Miles Gaston Villanueva (Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders) will be Supersonic and Sean Patrick Flanery (Dexter) will slip into the skin of Gunpowder.
But we will also see Kristin Booth (Orphan Black) and Jack Doolan (Marcella) in the roles of superhero siblings, named The TNT Twins. And of course, Jensen Ackles will have an important role in this season, that of the very first superhero, Soldier Boy.
We don’t yet know when Season 3 will air on Prime Video, but given that filming kicked off on February 24, we can be sure we won’t see it arriving until the end of the first half of 2022.
