Amazon Prime Video has just announced the acquisition of chapters 3 and 4 of After in France. The platform had already exclusively offered Chapter 2 last year.
It is through a tweet that Amazon Prime Video has just announced it to fans: After – Chapter 3 and After – Chapter 4 will be offered exclusively on the platform. No cinema box therefore for the last two parts of the saga adapted from novels for young adults by Anna Todd.
After – Chapter 2 was also acquired by Amazon Prime Video last year when its theatrical release was canceled in France. It’s a nice coup for the platform which will therefore offer impatient fans the continuation and end of this torrid saga for young adults.
From simple fanfiction on Wattpad to a literary phenomenon, After has become in a few years a popular and lucrative franchise on the big screen. As a reminder, the saga follows the birth and evolution of the complicated, often toxic romance between Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin), two university students.
While Hardin, a bad boy with a troubled past, makes Tessa believe that he wants to go out with her to win a bet, he sees real feelings arise for the young woman who will totally fall under his spell.
After several difficulties that affected the couple in After – Chapter 2, the next two parts will be the new theaters of twists for the two lovebirds who hope for a happy ending. After – Chapter 3 and After – Chapter 4, which should be even hotter than the first two, are directed by Castille Landon.
In After We Fell, Tessa is entering a new chapter in her life, but as she prepares to move to Seattle for her dream job, Hardin’s jealousy and unpredictable behavior escalates and threatens their relationship.
