Adam Driver will have to face big dinosaurs in the science fiction film “65 – The Earth Before”. A first trailer has been unveiled by Sony Pictures.

For a few years now, Adam Driver plays roles in ever-changing genres. Recently, we saw him in a musical film with Annette. Then just after as a knight in The Last Duel by Ridley Scott. In the coming months, we should also discover him in the skin of Enzo Ferrari for the film by Michael Mann before the arrival of the Megalopolis by Francis Ford Coppola. But before getting there, the actor will face dinosaurs in the sci-fi movie 65 – The Land Before.
The pitch of the film is simple. A spaceship pilot and his crew crash on an unknown planet. He is the only survivor with a young girl and they will quickly discover that the planet is not very welcoming. Indeed, dinosaurs are present. Because, in reality, the two protagonists have traveled back in time and here they are back 65 million years in the past.

We think with this story of The Planet of the Apes, in which an astronaut lands on a planet where apes dominate humans, only to realize that he is still on Earth, but in the future. The principle here is rather similar. But it is above all a good excuse to see Adam Driver takes on these dangerous creatures with a big futuristic gun.
We can only regret that the trailer (in one article) already reveals as much. It would probably have been more interesting to keep this twist hidden as long as possible. Once known, we end up (according to these images) with a relatively classic action movie. However, the visual proposal is not unpleasant, with great natural scenery and the dinosaurs which, since Jurassic Park (1993), still have their small effect.
Finally, note the presence in the production of Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. Two names which will not speak to the general public but which can display in their CV a participation in the writing of Without a sound (2018). Sam Raimi is on his side producer of 65 – The Land Before. And to accompany Adam Driver, we will find the young Ariana Greenblatt, view of netflix with Awake.
