After starring in the drama Everything went well and romantic comedy I Love AmericaSophie Marceau will soon be back at the movie theater in film noir A woman of our time.
In this feature film directed by Jean-Paul Civeyrac, the French actress plays the role of Juliane, police commissioner in Paris, of great moral integrity. But when she discovers that her husband has a double life, this will lead her to commit acts of which she would never have believed herself capable.

She is very available, she doesn’t constantly worry about her image, she never discusses the staging or the number of takes. The only difficult moment for her, and that she manifested, was in one of the last scenes of the film where she had to stretch the bowstring and not move. You don’t realize it, but it requires great physical strength. And she waited a long time to tell me, when the fatigue was really there, that is to say when dawn was approaching and we were almost at the end of filming that night.
