a TV series and a Nintendo Switch version for the remaster

Remedy Entertainment is concocting a nomadic Nintendo Switch version of Alan Wake Remastered. A big television channel has also acquired the rights for a series adaptation.

12 years have already passed since the release of Alan Wake on Xbox 360. A special anniversary, with the announcement of the long-awaited sequel the same year, which Remedy celebrated briefly on video.

Alan Wake on Nintendo Switch and TV

Sam Lake, creative director of Remedy Entertainment, opened the anniversary video along with Ilkka Villi, one of the actors of Alan, to announce a Switch version of the remaster. The release should take place next fall but only dematerialized via the eShop, unlike the PS4 and Xbox One versions which had a physical edition.

In the video, we also learned that the Finnish studio had sold the adaptation rights to the American channel AMC. It may not mean anything to you, and yet, this one has seen large pieces. Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, or even Mad Men, it was on AMC. And so it is this channel, born in 1984, which will put the TV series, Alan Wake. No synopsis, no cast, and even less release window on the horizon.

Remedy projects

In addition to the creepy footage of Alan Wake 2, Remedy Entertainment has at least three projects in development.

There will be a Control 2 but also a co-op multiplayer spin-off in this universe. Last April, the studio had a nice surprise in store for us: a big remake of Max Payne 1 & 2.

Max Payne has always held a special place in the hearts of every member at Remedy, and we know millions of fans around the world feel the same way. We are extremely happy to work again with our partners from Rockstar Games for the chance to bring the story, action, atmosphere of the original Max Payne games to life for gamers in a way never before seen.
