Season 4 of “Killing Eve” is slowly revealed with a first teaser and above all several images. We also learn that the series will resume in February, at least on BBC America.
The success of Killing Eve
With Killing Eve part of the general public was able to discover new talents. If we already knew Sandra Oh from Grey’s Anatomy, the fame of the actress Jodie comer and designer Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) was less. But with this atypically styled British series, these two talents have been revealed.
We follow Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) an MI-5 agent in charge of investigating murders orchestrated by the assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer). The latter is not discreet, quite the contrary. And she will even take some pleasure in playing cat and mouse with Eve, developing a real obsession for the agent, who herself will become fascinated by the killer. If the concept of Killing Eve is catchy, it is especially the eccentric character of Villanelle, perfectly interpreted by Jodie Comer, which allows the series to stand out from the crowd.
An American date and pictures for season 4
Killing Eve, therefore, continues on its way with the fourth season which should not belong in coming. If the first three are linked each year, season 4 took longer to be completed. In the end, it is almost two years of waiting that will have been necessary. Indeed, while a first teaser was unveiled by BBC America (in one article), we learn that the show will resume on February 27. At least in the United States. For France, Canal +, which broadcasts the program, has not yet specified the broadcast date.
In addition to this first enigmatic video, several photographs have been uploaded by EW, of which this image of Camille Cotin, present since season 3 in the role of Hélène.
Season 4 of Killing Eve will be the last, but potential spin-offs have been mentioned. Nothing concrete yet. But if there is any further success, it wouldn’t be surprising if the BBC tries to expand the universe further.
