If we suspected that the Game Awards ceremony would give pride of place to AAA from across the Atlantic, the French Asobo took advantage of the ceremony to unveil the first gameplay trailer for A Plague Tale Requiem.
The rumor had been running since the end of 2019, but it was not until E3 2021 to officially discover the return of Hugo and Amicia in A Plague Tale Requiem, the sequel to A Plague Tale Innocence.
Here are the organs, Who do it again
In the space of a minute and a half, the French from Asobo Studio were able to illustrate the new dimension they intend to offer to the duo of survivors. As if to clarify the intentions behind the subtitle of this new episode, it is by quoting the eponymous poem by Robert Louis Stevenson that A Plague Tale Requiem invites us to set sail, and to leave the narrow alleys of the first episode for the open sea.
Fleeing their painful past, Amicia and her brother travel south, to distant lands and their merchant cities. In a desperate struggle to survive, strike in the shadows or unleash the underworld with an arsenal of supernatural equipment and powers… and discover the price it pays to save your loved ones.
