Julie Gayet and Tomer Sisley will arrive on September 6 on TF1 in the new mini-series “Une Mère Parfait” adapted from the novel “The perfect mother” by Nina Darnton. What does this new program have in store for us?
A perfect mother : new series for the start of the school year
The start of the school year will be rich in French fiction on TF1. Indeed, only a few days after the launch of the series Lies carried by Audrey Fleurot and Arnaud Ducret, the channel will offer a whole new miniseries titled A perfect mother. Composed of 4 episodes of 52 minutes, this program resumes the story of the novel The perfect mother written by Nina Darnton. The episodes are written by Carol Noble in collaboration with Thomas Boullé and they are directed by Fred Garson (The Dancer).
The series is produced by the Quad Drama production company. The latter is at the origin of the successful series The Bazaar of Charity and is also preparing a mini-series in eight episodes, The Fighters. As for the casting of A perfect mother, we therefore find Julie Gayet and Tomer Sisley as well as Eden Ducourant discovered at the cinema in the film Camping 3. She also appeared on the small screen in the miniseries For Sarah. Rapper Hatik will also be there.
What is it about ?
In this brand new mini-series, Julie Gayet will perform Helene berg, a successful mother living in Berlin. She will see her life change the day her daughter, camped by Eden Ducourant, is suspected of murder of a rich heir. From then on, Hélène immediately went to France in the capital to find her daughter, while her surgeon husband Mathias (Andreas Pietschmann), remained in Berlin to take care of their son who had to pass the baccalaureate.

Once there, the mother will meet Thomas, played by Tomer Sisley, his former love of youth, whom she had not seen for 20 years. Having become a lawyer, he will try to help him in his efforts. Together they will investigate and uncover compromising evidence against his daughter. All of Helene’s certainties will falter. A central question will then arise: does she really know her child? See you on September 6 on TF1 to find out.
