Rebellion keeps talking about Sniper Elite 5, with a brand new trailer. Today’s video focuses on one of the game’s flagship features: the famous kill-cam.
Scheduled to land on PC, PS4 PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S on May 26, Sniper Elite 5 marks the great return of Karl Fairburne. The OSS agent will this time take the direction of France in order, as always, to put a big stop to Nazi projects. Once again, it is once again a question of stopping a revolutionary armament program.
Sniper Elite 5: the arms race
After the Landkreuzer P.1000 from episode 3, and the Henschel Hs 293 missile from episode 4, it is now the Kraken project (which involves submarines) that will be the objective of Sniper Elite 5. Nevertheless, the trailer of the day focuses on another novelty of the game: the Kill-Cam. This slow-motion which allows us to see our projectile destroying the organs of our targets is one of the key features of the game. But if the latter has been present since the beginning of the series, it was until then reserved for the sniper rifle.
As we can see in this trailer, the Kill-Cam will now trigger even when using shorter-range weapons. The Pistol, SMG, or Shotgun will now be able to trigger the animation, just like the Knife. You have understood it, in this Sniper Elite 5, we will be entitled to close-ups of organs reduced to mush quite recurrently.

More freedom
Sniper Elite 5 will also have maps that will offer several infiltrations and exfiltration points. The player will therefore be able to enjoy much greater tactical freedom. This should also make the game a little less linear while increasing its replay value. We remind you that this new episode will be fully playable in coop, which will allow simultaneous shooting.
If you’re ever hyped, know that pre-orders for the game are open. Those who check out now will be entitled to a few bonuses, including the mission to assassinate Hitler.
