Razer, Marvel, and Microsoft are teaming up for a Captain America collector’s Xbox controller. The accessory is based on the version seen in the Disney+ series Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
The Razer props unveil a new Xbox controller that should go quickly to Marvel fans. Because yes, it will only be available in limited quantity. But as you will see in the photos in our gallery, the design does not use the codes of Captain America seen in the MCU…
Sam “Wilson” Falcon reporting
This Xbox Captain America controller borrows from the costume of Sam “Wilson” Falcon, the Captain America of the Disney+ series Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It is less popular, of course, but we will have to get used to it since it will be the only model available “soon” for $179.99. When we love, do we not count?
As the images show, the front and the handles of the controller are dressed with the upper part of the costume and its trio of white/blue/red colors. The support, which reproduces the famous shield, is a magnetic charging station supplied in each pack. Forget the Vibranium though, we are of course on plastic. According to the Razer site, it takes less than three hours to recharge the ring road.
Features of an Xbox Series X|S Controller
This Xbox Captain America controller is a collector’s item, but don’t expect any hidden modifications from Razer. We are here on a very normal Xbox Series model, which is therefore compatible with the latest Microsoft consoles but also Xbox One and any Windows 10 PC. It can work on Mac, but then you will need the Xbox adapter designed for it.
The connectors are the same, the same goes for the grips of the handles and triggers already present on the non-limited controllers. Unlike other Razer products though, there’s no hard case to take it with you everywhere. Pre-orders will be open on the manufacturer’s website. Good luck!
