TF1 finally unveils the trailer for “Une Affaire Française”, its next event series which looks back on the little Grégory affair. A survey that has thrilled crowds and has shaken the country for more than 35 years with its many twists and turns.
A French affair : a fascinating survey
TF1 is working on a big issue by choosing to highlight the case of little Grégory in its new anthological series entitled A French affair. The chain is just from unveil the trailer unprecedented of this novelty which will be released on September 20. Each season of this program will be dedicated to a news item that marked the French. Thus, we are starting strong with the case of little Gregory who continues to shake the country because the investigation is still not completed.
The arrival of this new series was not viewed favorably by the Villemin couple. The parents of the murdered little boy were not made aware of the project. Their lawyer indeed threatened to react following the announcement of the creation of the program. However, one thing is certain, the series will indeed see the light of day since the channel has finally unveiled the first images.
This is not the first time that the audiovisual world has appropriated this tragic story. A few years earlier, it was the Netflix platform that had returned to this mysterious investigation by publishing the documentary in five episodes entitled Gregory. As for the television series A French affair, it will be composed of 6 episodes of 52 minutes, and displays a five-star cast.
Beautiful people on the program
The screenplay for this new series is signed by Alexandre Smia (The Legends Office) and Jérémie Guez (Night devoured the worlde). On the production side we find Christophe Lamotte who has already worked on The day I burned my heart and The part of suspicion.
It is the actress Blandine Bellavoir, well known for her role in The Little Murders of Agatha Christie, who will play Christine Villemin. Her husband will be played by Guillaume Gouix, seen recently on Netflix in Gone forever.
In the role of the famous judge Lambert we find Laurent Stocker. The actor Guillaume de Tonquédec will lend his features to the gendarme Etienne Sesmat who was in charge of the investigation. By their side there will also be Michaël Youn, Gérard Jugnot, Thierry Godart and Gilbert Melki, among others.
