Converse is obviously happy with the results it gets when partnering with video game brands. A few months after the release of its NBA Jam collection, the American brand is indeed preparing to market another range of products inspired by a video game. And this time around, she turned to one of the biggest heavyweights in the industry.

Converse has just announced the upcoming marketing of a collection of clothing in the colors of the Pokémon. As the latter are currently celebrating their 25th birthday, the iron must be beaten while it is hot. And unlike what it did with NBA Jam, the Nike subsidiary will offer a full range. The latter will in fact consist of shoes, clothing and accessories. According to Converse, this collection will be available in France, as well as in the rest of the world, from December 10th.

On the shoe side, Converse’s flagship model will be in the spotlight. This collection Converse x Pokémon will indeed consist of several pairs of Chuck Taylor All Star. The first, named First Partners, is an asymmetric pair. On the right basketball, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Carapuce and Pikachu welcome Rondoudou. On the left basket, these four Pokémon are however ready to fight against Meowth. Converse also specifies that the classic Chuck Taylor crest has here been replaced by a PokéBall. These Converse x Pokémon First Partners are available in adult, youth and small sizes.

Pokémon, it’s not just for kids

The second pair is soberly titled Chuck Taylor All Star Poké Ball. First-generation Pokémon were printed on white canvas. The Chuck Taylor All Star logo has also been replaced with a Pokéball on this pair. The famous object from the Pokémon universe can be found on the outer side of each shoe. The Chuck Taylor All Star Poké Ball is available in adult and youth sizes.

The third pair is a Easy-On Chuck Taylor All Star Ox intended for younger children. In fact, it is even possible to say that it is a question of several pairs since two different models are offered. And both were designed to be easier for kids to put on. The first pair is in the colors of Pikachu. The second, intended for the little ones, is to the glory of Rondoudou.

Note in passing that the program Converse By You will also be used as part of this collection. Those interested can indeed use it to customize Chuck Taylor All Star or Chuck 70 Pokémon.

Shoes, but not only

Along with all these sneakers, Converse will also be offering various Pokémon clothing and accessories. The Pokémon 25th Anniversary Celebration Tour hoodie takes on the style of concert t-shirts. Instead of the dates and performance venues are the different regions of the games and the three associated Starters.

People who are not afraid of pink can turn to the round neck Sherpa Rondoudou sweater. This is a sweater “mauve pink“decked out with a graphic of Rondoudou judged by Converse to be”bold. “No collaboration of this type would obviously be complete without its batch of t-shirts. Converse will therefore offer several short and long-sleeved t-shirts. These latter highlight Pikachu and / or pocket monsters of the first generation. .

Finally, this Converse x Pokémon collection will also include a cap and a backpack. These two products will also be to the glory of Pikachu. Photos of these different products are available in our gallery below. Here are the sneakerheads fans of Pokémon warned.

What do you think of this collaboration between Converse and Pokémon? Could you be tempted by some products? If yes, which ones ? Tell us all in the comments below.
