Ahead of Dawn of Ragnarök, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is receiving improvements through a 1.5 update. Additionally, Ubisoft’s title will also be playable for free this weekend.

This Tuesday, February 22 at 1 p.m.Ubisoft will update Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in version 1.5.0. A very heavy patch to fix imperfections and clear the ground for the Dawn of Ragnarök expansion.

Infiltration at the heart of the new update

To triumph over this 1.5.0 update, you will need a damn robust connection or make your arrangements. Indeed, depending on the platform, the file will weigh approximately 7.94GB at the minimum and 15.09GB at most.

  • PS5: about 3.60 GB
  • PS4: about 7.94 GB
  • Xbox Series: about 12.27 GB
  • Xbox One: about 9.84 GB
  • pc: about 15.09 GB

Broadly, the patch is intended to improve the infiltration component This will impact with better AI reaction to hero hissing or being detected when using environmental traps. On the other hand, animals will spot you more easily – regardless of distance or angle -, NPCs will “extremely” quickly unravel conflicts, and the enemy detection cone will be reduced with the bow. A fix is also creeping in for Monks not being able to leave the mob in the Taken (Kidnap Estrid) mission.

The other big change in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the addition of a “Saga” difficulty to write your Viking journey without worrying about infiltration and combat challenges. To deepen the modifications of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft has issued a patch note.

Free temporary access to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

In addition, AC Valhalla is preparing a commercial operation that should appeal to as many people as possible. From Thursday, February 24 to Monday 28 February the publisher offers free access to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Of course, after these dates, you will have to buy the game to extend the experience.

As recalled in a tweet below, the Dawn of Ragnarök DLC “is on the way”. Six minutes of the extension are already available, before its release which will take place on March 10, 2022, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC.
