As part of the 32nd Ankara Film Festival, 15 films from the National Short Film Competition were screened yesterday, while the National Feature Film Competition starts today.

The third day of the festival started with the excitement of the National Short Film Competition films. Director Müjgan Yıldırım said the following about the movie: “Thank you to the audience for their patience, it was a long movie that was actually longer. This study emerged in more than 3 years, these 3 years coincided with our most difficult period, the pandemic. I would like to thank Burçak Evren and our cinema historian friends who supported us. Here is what we are actually trying to do; that didn’t mean it wasn’t that. It was a journey. On this journey, we always stopped at some stops. In some we asked questions, in some we made some additions. We will continue this course, this train will go. Perhaps many of the things we have said here will also change. Turkish cinema will maintain its organic structure and will begin to replace the rumors as new documents are released.”
32nd Ankara Film Festival National Feature Film Competition Starts Today
The excitement for the 32nd Ankara Film Festival’s National Feature Film Competition starts today. As part of the festival today Erkan Tahhusogluin which he brought the story of two old sisters with opposite characters who had to live together, to the big screen. Corridor; Tufan TastanBased on a true story, two police officers and townspeople who were chasing the statue of Lenin, took center stage. You Ben Lenin; trying to take his friend, who fell ill in a boarding school where pressure and discipline is intense, to the doctor; but tells the poignant story of Yusuf, who has to overcome the bureaucracy of the school, the callousness of the administration and the difficult geographical conditions. Ferit Karahan directed by School Shaving and Aydin Orak‘ tells the story of the struggle of two brothers living in a poor suburb under the scorching heat of Diyarbakır to enter the pool of the luxury complex right next to their neighborhood. Time of Impatience movies will be on the big screen.
Within the scope of the VEKAM Ankara Special Screening section organized by the Ankara Film Festival in cooperation with the Vehbi Koç Ankara Studies Application and Research Center (VEKAM), the history of old Ankara is based on the painting titled “Ankara Landscape” from the 18th century, recorded in the inventory of the Netherlands Amsterdam Rijksmuseum. and focuses on culture Ankara Landscape, directed by Kerime Senyücel, focusing on Ankara’s oldest pharmacist, 95-year-old Niyaz Dermancı. Keçiören Whistle and Vedat (Vahric) Aslangül, who worked as the shop assistant of Ankara’s Stylish Button haberdashery for 50 years and spent his life in Keçiören, and reveals the Keçiören of the 40s and 50s with the narration of Vedat (Vahric) Aslangül.
